I'm having constant issues during work and Microsoft Teams calls on my mobile, with the WiFi connection continually dropping or showing as weak.

My work laptop is connected via Ethernet. I've already replaced the Ethernet cable, but that hasn't made any difference.

I'm on EE's top broadband package and have an extender upstairs, but it still isn't improving the connection. EE has also replaced both my router and extender, and I've had engineer visits, but the problem remains.

I'm at my wits' end because every time I contact support I end up going through the same troubleshooting steps, which never resolve the issue.

Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have any advice? I live in a new-build house, so I don't think the property itself is the issue.

@Sharon_1979 You cannot NOT blame the property as you have NO idea off the construction materials used and does not help when you do not say what you are using Equipment wise from EE and were your connection is to Hub or Extender. The teams issues were pretty much alleged to be smoothed out EE Hub wise but they may not be, only real fix was estimated to drop back to a BT Smarthub2 and the complete wifi operation. Or try another third party hub but that all depends on if DV is getting used for a landline phone operation.

I’ve had exactly the same problem for the last couple of months and pay a lot of money for the service.
engineer comes out says its ok everywhere and maybe the router. Tell the EE team what was said still no new router.

keeps dropping in and out all different times of day. So when the EE team says it’s congestion because lots of devices in the house are in use at once or there are a lot of people on the same service line we’ll I’m sorry but at 4 I’m the morning I’m pretty sure most people are not awake. Dropped out 4 times in 30 mins this morning.

like you said you get nowhere with them just useless.

@Clair0711 What EE Hub and/or Extenders are you using currently, if they do happen to be the EE 7 Pro versions then those are currently amidst a (FW Firmware update) program just now being pushed out from EE. All the other hubs are completed but may be a few still getting done.

What is it you are seeing, congestion will slow the Hub down but DOES NOT cause it to do a drop out and a reconnect to the Broadband.
