Have tried to get BBC iPlayer and ITVX via EE hub and I’m told I cannot access these unless I have a TV service from EE at a cost!

please be aware this new full fibre hub and service is not a direct replacement, functionality wise, from my You Fibre service.

I’ve been informed by EE to contact Freeview to get the channels via their service.

bitterly disappointed as this was not explained to me in the shop at Merry Hill, I feel I’ve been misold

You do not need an EE TV package or hardware to watch ITVX or bbc iPlayer.

ITVX on EE TV | TV and Sport Help | EE

Not having EE TV does not prevent you accessing iPlayer or ITVX or indeed any other channel app like channel 4 or 5 via an app on your TV or just via a browser on your device.

I brought the Manhattan because it could connect using both WIFI and Ethernet. (Which I chose because WIFI can be a bit unstable if your router is far away)

I have mine connected using Ethernet and it works perfectly

I am also pleased with the Support service they provide, notifying you of regular updates to the range of additional apps available.
