You are not alone. As soon as everyone goes home, my speed can fall off to as low as 0.15mbps (the minimum is meant to be 20mbps). Apparently there's no fault, and the router claims my speed is exactly as it should be.

They will probably send another engineer out, replace the router again, and then I will be back to report the same problem by Friday.

What speeds are reported by running the speed test in the EE app? That will not only measure the raw BB connection speeds you are getting at the router as well as speeds to the device from which you are testing.

What if I told you those numbers are fake.

VW car software used to pass emissions becase the software knew it was a test. People believe these speed test sites like they are one true source of truth.

@LordMatt Since you are not saying what your speed profile is, not much anyone can do for you, but best you take a look on the EE Hub web manager, and see if somewhere it tells you the Up/Down sync rates that you EE Hub is on.... As for speed testing you need to supply more than just a Fast.com connection and say what you are doing testing wise.

I'm documenting an intermittent fault that EE insists isn't there because they can't detect it. But, when the rubber meats the road, the connection is unusable during these times. They can last from ten minutes to several hours. Funnily enough, never when the office is open.

Then what are your sync speeds shown under Advanced Settings > Technical Log > Information? Obscure your names & any numbers in the BB Username & also the SSIDs. Also post the Home > Status page.
