After many weeks struggling with the 6023 ee tv box pro errors when watching live TV, Ive been forced into using the supplied Smart Hub in order for the support team to be able to help resolve it. This is OK, but I need to forward some ports to allow my home services to work externally. initially, I only need ports 80 and 443 to pass through to my internal server, and with all other broadband providers and their routers this is incredibly straightforward. Indeed the rules even look the same when added to the Smart Hub 7 plus, however they just do not work.

When I attempt to access these services from outside, I get nothing. and from inside the network, instead of being forwarded to the internal servers IP address, I just get the Smart hub's home page.

Here are the rules Im trying to use:

Also, any attempt to try and set these rules to use TCP/UDP instead just doesnt work, you cant click the add button as the port numbers as you see above are not right for some reason ...

(why on earth has it added a "1" in the end range fields and then marked the fields red like iver entered something wrong)???

I would rather not use the router at all, but the multicast problems that the TV Box pro has with my Mercusys Halo devices mean that if I cant get that fixed, then Im stuck with it. All help and suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks @JimM11 . I just spent a while reading through that post, and have tried the following:

1) Disconnect Smart Hub from all internal networked devices

2) Factory reset Smart Hub

3) Quickly connect from macbook, logged in, disabled upnp before anything adds a rule

4) Set LAN IP address and DHCP Scope to match my home network needs

5) Added Port Forward rules for 80, 443, and a few others.

6) REconnected everything in the house

THe result, Port forwarding now working. Its daft, but I can live with it. Now onto the other problem, the EE TV Box Pro and the IPC6023 error...

The 7 Plus version does appear to have a little oops going on especially with the uPnP....
