Ordered a deal but won’t honor it now

Good afternoon,

Got offered a deal a few days ago, originally said no as I was in the process of moving to another provider. The guy told me to phone back if I changed my mind.
Phoned back the same night, got told another department offered it and told me they would phone me back. No call back. Tried contacting EE again and they said they couldn’t offer the same deal even though I got told to phone back if I changed my mind.
So I had put a complaint in about it but no success so far. Tried on line chat and same issue. Said they couldn’t do it even though the same deal is on uswitch which the guy offered it

Offers come and go. Could also be time limited.

Yeah that’s true, but I don’t think it’s very fair if I got told to phone back the same day if I changed my mind, not very good business

@jblack1888 They make the offer and that offer only has to stand while your on the phone if you say no and leave it that offer doesn’t have to be made again and most certainly you can not request something that was an offer to you at that time, otherwise people will be calling up saying I was made this offer and I now want it and it’s a total fabrication of an offer.

well he shouldn’t have said to phone back if I had changed my mind. They can check the calls logs.

@jblack1888 The ISP's are all the same, had it with EE when i OTS over to sky, stay you get this price right your too late now, Sky did similar then did the opposite upped the price said stuff it don't like it leave your just a tadpole in a huge sea, so did purely out off principal, upped left went back ISP promise was as good as a chocolate teapot so upped and went again apologised to the other ISP for cancelling the order cost me more to do it but principals are what matters if an ISP cannot keep there word it's not worth staying! Retentions oops one off those as @Chris_B say's do it now or lose it, no delay's or time to think about it all.....

@jblack1888 Happens all the time, so in 24months remember and recall the past experience, retentions have there target's to make, your chalked up in the NO box now! Never say never sometimes you may just get the call again, think the Manager phoned me at least 3 times trying but i had already made my mind up i was gone....
