Hey,

Currently with EE for both broadband and digital landline (using a EE smart hub router)

I am planning to keep my EE broadband but move my EE landline service as I want to use a third-party VoIP provider for my landline calls.

Can anyone please confirm that EE fully allows this to work seamlessly (so the third-party VOIP landline is routed through the EE smart hub router), and EE broadband/router will not block or restrict third-party VoIP landline traffic?

Thanks

No reason for it not to work. Presume your VoIP host provides suitable Ethernet adapters for your phones.

The EE hub will be a broadband only connection after this point. See also the link below with respect to fixes applied and if working with third party VOIP systems.

EE Hub firmware versions - The EE Community

VoIP is just another TCP/IP protocol & EE block no protocol. EE may use VoiP in their proprietary way for their DV but that doesn't stop other VoIP providers from also using it.
