Hello, I recently switched broadband to YouFibre back on the 23rd of June. YouFibre attempted to take over the switch, however for whatever reason EE is refusing to do this. I can't see an option to close my account anywhere on EE's website and I can't use the phone due to issueswhich I do not wish to discuss.

Is there actually a way to close the account via messenger or something please?

Thanks.

(Opt 1) in my sig. and give 30 days notice.

Alternatively, You may write to them giving your 30-day notice of cancellation at:

EE Customer Services
6 Camberwell Way
Sunderland
Tyne and Wear
SR3 3XN
United Kingdom

Include your name, address, EE account number and/or address of your EE BB location.

Your 30-days notice will be taken from when they receive your letter.

Have you not been paying your bills? That'll be the main reason for EE refusing to release you. If that's the case then EE won't let you cancel until you do. Is that what you wish not to discuss?

Switches are gaining provider led so if no issues on EE side with bills it's more likely your new supplier didn't do it correctly & are trying to pass the blame
