      <title>Extender pro never connects</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Last week my WiFi extender pro stop working , flashing orange.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so tried to pair it , no luck did a reset no luck .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hooked it up thru Ethernet cable directly to the router , nice solid blue light but shows as offline in the app&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;tried a differnt Ethernet cable and even the differnt ports , nice solid blue light but still shows offline&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;unhooked it from the Ethernet the blue light stays on and but still shows as offline.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ok maybe it’s the app I thought , unplugged the extender&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;move it turned it back on back to orange flashing light .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;loads of googling no real answer same common fault .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;decided to contact ee and was told I would have to pay for a new one, am sorry but am not even into a year with my contract and am not paying for a device that should have years warranty.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any other suggestions before I go buy an alternative brand ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4888855"&gt;@Wobzomby86&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Did you get the original Smart Wireless Pro extender from EE, if so there should be no issue for them to replace it with another unit. Would also try the EE Pro Hub off for 5 minutes then trying to pair it up again after that point.       <description>&lt;P&gt;This exact thing happened to me. &amp;nbsp;Blue light but absolutely no service. &amp;nbsp;I managed to resolve it with the following steps.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Power down router and extender&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Start up router after a couple of minutes and give it time to connect and settle&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Power up extender and then once it gets to flashing orange start the factory reset process and hold the button in for 15 seconds.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Once the extender finishes the reset and goes blue, leave it in place for a few minutes and give it time to really settle, pick up any updates etc.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This completely cleared the issue for me. &amp;nbsp;I've just spent over three weeks finding a good position for my extenders and have finally got them stable. &amp;nbsp;This exact scenario happened to me unexpectedly on Sunday. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4888855"&gt;@Wobzomby86&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;I should have mentioned in my earlier post for step 4 you will probably need to link the extender again after the factory reset. &amp;nbsp;I did mine using WPS and it worked fine. &amp;nbsp;Again, wait for flashing orange before you try to start the process.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have found these extenders to be very fickle. &amp;nbsp;At one point I found even turning off and back on 2.4GHz caused the exact problem you have, and I had to start over. &amp;nbsp;My experience is not to try and rush any of it. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good luck and let us know how you get on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
