It is being investigated by EE who are starting to roll out a f/ware fix for it.

I've had an EE broadband Service and Wifi hub connected to my Ring Camera network for the last two years. I've recently renewed my broadband contract and I'm now losing wifi connectivity on one of my hardwired cameras and the Ring Chime. I'm having to reset my router every 4 days to restore connectivity . But the problem keeps recurring . Has anyone any suggestions as what may be causing this as i've not changed anything on either the Wifi or the Ring network.

Thanks... my firmware version is r4.26.1-R-1860948-PROD-83002 which i now understand is linked with a known connectivity issue.

Yes, that's the f/ware vers. with the issue. Have you tried Compatability mode to get around it?

@XRaySpeX Would be trying the fixed channel method first if the Ring was hanging on the Main WiFi ok, i know for sure that mine was when it did jump over when the Tp-Link powerline was taken out off use for the socket that it was plugged into when i need the power for doing the Garden, that socket got used then....

@goddardp You may get the new FW updated anytime soon now, so if you wish to wait see if it squares it all away without doing anything at present. At least you are going a reasonable time between having to correct and connect the Ring.
