Hey

We're having issues with our 2.4ghz continually dropping, so none of our Lamps, camera or Alexa work, nothing's changed or been added etc, spoke to Customer service 5 days ago who did a reset and raised a complaint, it all worked after that and now it's stopped again for no apparent reason, any ideas? Do we need a new hub?

We have Fibre to the door so it's normally super good and consistent and was all working brilliantly when we had BT BB but the EE BB has been less reliable

Hi, just retrying and changing the password on the compatible network, so will see how that goes

I think it's been about a 6/7months since we went from BT to EE, and it wasn't a great experience, it was previously consistently reliable and since it's been dropping regularly both the 5gh, and now this with the 2.4, it's really frustrating

Below is how the FW updates have kind off went so worth a look see what you have.

Do you have any external booster's / range extenders / AP's etc to the EE Hub?

Do not have any EE Equipment, but do see if the Comp can be set fixed channel also, if so have the Main and the Comp on the same first, if not stable select opposites. ie one on channel 1 and the other on 6 or 11.

FW: r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 and the gui is at App version 3.1.3. 17/09/2025 Now https://
FW: r3.8.25-R-1595997-PROD-1 and the gui is at App version ?.?.?. 23/12/2025
FW: r3.8.26-R-1595999-PROD-1 and the gui is at App Version is 3.1.3.19 24/12/2025
FW: r4.28.1-R-1882725-PROD-1 and the gui is at App Version is 3.14.5 31/05/2026

It's continuing to drop, called CS again and they think it's the FW which is the cause, but waiting to hear back post engineer review, but not sure what's gonna happen to resolve

We do have one extender as the WiFi doesn't reach our extension
