topic Not getting the speed advertised and cant link app - stuck on order pending in Broadband & Landline

I am kind of regretting moving over from TalkTalk now, I had no problems with them I had 900mb down and no issues.

Since changing to the 1.6gb package with EE I've had nothing but problems.

Openreach installed new box and removed old one at the beginning of the week, the broadband works but I only get 400mb and not anywhere near the advertised guaranteed speed of 1.2gb, Openreach even tested and got the same results and to my surprise they didn't know why I wasn't getting the speed as everything was ok with no errors, then just left.

I cant even link to the app, so the EE app is useless to me, and every time I try and do something all I get is order pending, its been like that for ages, cant see bills, usage, manage the parental controls or anything. (I see the linking to the app is major problem with many people)

I'm stuck and seriously considering my options as I'm still in my colling off period.

@Grazy2266 Without the app it's going to be hard to say what you are getting as it does the split test, to the EE hub and then onto the device, what method are you testing by, Ethernet will give you a better picture to start with rather than wireless wifi testing.

www.fast.com may work for you?

https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/compare-our-range-of-broadband-hubs

Best you say what you have from the link above equipment wise. Also you need to call EE CS and see your profile is set for 1.6Gb/s package speed.
