topic Laptop showing in Router log as reconnecting every 6-7 seconds in Broadband & Landline

Just throwing this out there, we have our own solution.

My wife's HP laptop was fine until the recent router firmware update (~26/05/26) but is now showing "device [mac address] connected" every 6 to 7 seconds in the router logs. The machine appears to work fine on email and browsing, but a Zoom call yesterday was barely working, with constant drop-outs.

I've tried all the usual - wifi adapter driver (was already the latest), turning off/adjusting many adapter parameters such as Roaming Agressiveness, all with no luck. We've finally got a USB dongle on the way as a solution.

I know roaming aggressiveness did help one user. Be interested to hear any other ideas. TIA.
