topic Switching from Virgin media to EE in Broadband & Landline

I am going to switch from Virgin to EE. Have finished the external work but still waiting for the internal work from open reach.
I know there’s a “ one touch switch “ which EE / openreach will noticed Virgin media. However Virgin media didn’t receive any notification from EE / openreach. May I know the timeline how’s EE normally do? As I am afraid of double charged from both side.

@JoyceW1 VM get notified at the start off the OTS process, and then the final part is once you are all done OR side internal for you and you are live on the EE system, at that final point EE send to VM that you are now fully an EE customer and VM can shutdown your Broadband connection charge you the partial day's and supply any refund if you are due anything back.

VM have a tendency to ignore it all so you have to keep an eye out for that, and if need be you may just have to call VM to be sure that the cancel process has taken place, so good luck with it all! OR only deal with EE they do NOTHING at all regarding the VM side....

Did you apply to EE direct when you did the transfer off your Broadband, if so at that time OTS from the EE side should have kicked in, and the NORM is a VM e-mail to you about sorry to see your are thinking about leaving etc....
