I am with BT and have just installed a BT Smart Hub 3 which I found out later does not support Digital Voice. The previous Smart Hub 2 does support digital voice and I had 3 BT Essential Headsets connected via WPS. Now the SH3 does not support DV and although the improved Wifi 6 standard is an advantage over the Wifi 5 SH2 I would rather have an EE router that does support DV.

So requirements for my potential EE router:

1) Must support Digital Voice (DV) and ideally allow me to pair (via WPS) my existing 3 x BT Essential Headsets (Digital Voice)

2) Must have Wifi standard 7 (or 6 if not possible)

3) Must have a good wifi range ideally using external antennas to boost the signal.

4) FTTP (Fibre To Premises) as I have Fibre Optic FTPP (with internal modem).

please let me know a suitable EE route thanks

@Bob1100 and @Denzel99 The BT Smart Hub 3 does DV, it's just the Business version off it that is clamped for the Phone Socket output side, and as the OP has posted he is a BT ISP customer, and the BT Forum is full of the Residential one works fine. EE is the 7 Pro or Plus versions and as to wither DV is going to work on those with a EE connected hub then it's a gamble to try and see. Adding a Hub and maintaining DV through that is all setup by BT as the ISP.....

Welcome to BT’s official support community.

BT Smart Hub 3 - BT Community

@Denzel99 Did see the posting on the BT Forum, so does look like it's the Business Hub to start with, think the outside carboard packaging say's so, not sure if serial numbers etc can indicate. Did play with one 5 weeks ago when over in NI but it just would not stay connected to the FF connection, and it came from BT direct to the owner, ended up just putting on the BT Smart Hub2 and his Complete WiFi disk, spread over lower apartment and upper apartment, he owns both the homes and that worked out well, once added the disc using Advanced Wireless only, day or so later centralised the disc and all working as expected. BT Smart Hub 3 back to it's box, later found out from him BT had been 4 times to try and install it and never once got it working, stayed up 5 mins from boot, after that offline so not even worth spending any time on the sucker.

No DV involved straight FF connection only at the 150/30Mb/s as far as i could see. No issues SH2/Complete wifi....
