Yes, as long as you don't have DV but you may have to put your EE supplied router back in if you ever have to seek support.

Custom hardware on EE broadband?

So I have been on the full fibre 1.6Gbps service for a couple years.

i recently noticed that i was paying more than I should be so I voted to re-up my broadband at £71.99 from £75.99 and that includes new WiFi 7 hardware in place of the old WiFi 6 hardware. However I don’t need the new hardware because I currently have an ASUS BE-98 Wifi7 router and have my hardware set up how I like it including a NAS and custom setting for all my WiFi channels.

the question I have is can I continue to use my own hardware?

I presume the config for enabling the connection won’t change I.e username will remain as bthomehub@btbroadband.com etc…

I don’t, in my reply I was questioning whether there was any change in the configuration, perhaps required to emulate the Wifi7 EE Hardware. So based on what you have said I won’t have to change a thing which is exactly what I was hoping to be the case
