Moving out but no new address yet

Hello,

I moved out from my flat and am on a long trip at the moment. I received an email from EE saying that someone wants to take over the broadband at my address and they'll terminate my contract if I don't call them before 2pm 28 May 2026.

I don't want to end my contract but I can't do the moving process yet as I haven't decided the next flat. Also, I'm using data only SIM during my trip so I'm unable to call EE.

What should I do?

Hi @ramnos

If you're within contract you'll need to pay this off, you cannot have a service at place you don't live.

Use another phone and contact EE https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee

@ramnos Find a method to contact EE and cancel the BB as you no longer live at the Flat, the next occupants will be wanting to get there BB installed.

You'll have to let your BB be auto cancelled by the new occupants taking over the BB at the addy you used to live as you have no addy to move it to. You will then receive your final bill incl. any Early Termination Charges.
