Hi, I certainly will post how I get on. I have about few months left on my contract and then will have to act. You’re right of course all providers increase their prices each year and cannot say often enough that we all don’t have bottomless pockets eventually something will have to give. I moved to EE from Virgin for a cheaper deal, it was good at first but now creeping up again. But my experience with Virgin was that there was always a deal to be done at end of contract. We’ll have to see whether EE are equally responsive, I suggest not! as my experience with mobile sim only contract (previous post) they actually let me leave go to a new provider before they contacted me with a reasonable offer. Really odd, “left hand, right hand etc). I of course will eventually move as we all should as there is no reward in being loyal. As I said earlier while more customers come in the front door than leave through the back nothing will change. But it can’t last forever, rant over

Hi All,

following some of your posts regarding costs. Is there a set rate that all pay depending on what you have? Or do we all differ? I pay £85.99pm for broadband and big sports. I have little or no entertainment other than what’s on the old now channels and terrestrial. Could anyone tell me that, it’s about average or too high. Thanks

Generally everyone pays diff for BB on the same plan. New custs pay less than existing custs. Also the annual price increase comes into it for some.

What is the split of your charges between BB & TV? Which BB plan are you on?

Hi

I pay £35.99 BB and £50 big sports per month getting too high to sustain perhaps a luxury too far unless there are savings to be made

Thanks

Thanks Jim

As I understand by the document sent: the prices set therein are maximums and agents or whoever are allowed to discount anywhere below said maximums to reach a mutually agreeable level? Or maybe I’m totally off the mark! But if I’m correct and not saying I am there maybe still some level of future negotiations?

Thank you very much

I remember the days before New EE, ie when BT took over it was possible to ring CS and get a good deal. However I have never known when the computer says yes you can have a good deal on the A?C for renewels, more like the computer says NO.

There seems to have been a few posts recently on how EE prices are getting more and more uncompetative, SKY and Virgin do the same, unlil customers get fed up and look elsewhere - unsurprisingly really.
