That's overkill for just installing a single WAP, much better to spend about £5 on a PoE injector than £60+ for a PoE switch.

@Weebles2025 That’s was straight from the top of my head. And where are you getting POE switches from at £60+ ? You can get them from £25 for a five port

Those cheep £25 ones are only good for powering low powered CCTV cameras and not WAPs. Better to get an injector that way you are providing the correct power for the WAP.
