Smart Hub Plus blocks internal traffic?

I recently switched to EE and setup this new Smart Hub Plus device and have run into a significant issue which I cant find a solution for. Every device on my home network can reach the internet via ethernet or wifi, that side of things is working much better than my old ISP. From main PC, laptop, and smart phone; I can remote onto my home server as before (using either host name or the static IP) but I cannot access the file share anymore, nor can any local device ping any other local device. Its as if the Hub's internal firewall is blocking way more local traffic than it needs to, and I cannot see a way to open it up. My previous ISPs own router (Sky) had a significantly more comprehensive management portal, which included the ability to create firewall rules to allow or block traffic as needed, including allowing more open sharing between local devices. Is there anything similar for the EE Hubs?

Completely forgot to check that. New network, so Windows defaulted to the recommended 'Public' network profile.
