EE is using my line to provide EE Wi-Fi Hotspot

I have noticed a drop in performance on my already poor EE broadband line. Devices connected to the EE hub, like smart cameras and alarm sensors, keep disconnecting. That used to work well for more than a year, but suddenly they started keep disconnecting. And then I noticed that a new network appeared in the grid, the so-called EE Wi-Fi hotspot, which is accessible to EE users to connect with their EE credentials. So EE is using my network to provide Wi-Fi hotspots to its clients. I pay £67 per month (after the recent increases) for an already unstable connection with a maximum speed of 45mb, and a TV package (£48 of each is the broadband), and I live in central London. I find this disgusting, and I feel used that random people from the bus stop outside my house are using my connection. How can I ensure that EE won't be using my line as an EE Wi-Fi hotspot?

You are opted in to allow your EE router to prove a node for the Public EE WiFi hotspots as well as being able to use it freely yourself.

To turn it off, both for broadcasting it & being able to use it, login to your online EE a/c & under Manage > Plans & Subs > Manage broadband > EE WiFi (at bottom) > Learn more about EE WiFi select Opt Out.
