      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4977869"&gt;@BootsOnBallast&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; No you can't switch the EE Router to modem mode, but if your Asus Mesh can be set to PPOE mode then you should be able to connect it direct to the ONT. Some info is available here&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/using-and-configuring-a-third-party-router" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/using-and-configuring-a-third-party-router&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PPOE username is the standard BT one, and there is no need to set much else.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
