What are the perks for renewing my contract to 24 months - I’ve looked and can’t see anything?

is it worth it as prices have increased - and continue to do so every year!

These BB contracts don't need renewing as they don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the non-discounted price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly migrate, cancel or upgrade.

What you may be thinking of is upgrading your contract when the min. term expires cuz its price has increased due to losing the initial discount. That's the only perk as you may find the same BB plan is now available cheaper than your current non-discounted price.
