What are the disadvantages and financial implications of terminating rental of landline while retaining broadband? Will it affect loyalty discounts on mobile rent?

Not a lot! Home Phone is on a rolling monthly contract & so you only need to give 30 days notice to terminate. It has no financial bearing on your mobile or BB contracts.
