I just upgraded to 500 core a few days ago, and every time I've done a speed test, it's around the 180-210 mbps mark

The same speed i was already getting before i upgraded, is there a problem or does it take a few days for the router to update?

What speed test are you using/how are you testing? The EE App has a speedtest that runs directly to your hub and would rule out any device capability/WiFi limitations. Nothing needs changing in the router so as long as the upgrade order is complete then you should be getting the faster speeds.

Can't hurt to try rebooting your Openreach ONT too if you haven't tried that already.

I've restarted my router, and i run a speed test on my xbox, and I'm not getting any faster download speeds than i was before i upgraded to 500 Mbps. I downloaded a game to test and it still took 45 mins to download 60 GB

Sent from Samsung Mobile on O2
Sent from Outlook for Android<>

Is this over a wired or a wireless connection?

If on wireless, the Xbox Series X|S only supports WiFi 5 which can limit speeds in some scenarios. Coupled with the fluctuations that can be experienced with range from the Hub.

A wired speedtest to the Hub or a speedtest using the EE App would be much more representative and give you a better idea of what speed you are actually receiving to the Hub and what might be lost over wireless.
