      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just changed to EE from Virgin and having issues with connecting HP Deskjet 4130e printer wirelessly, tried all the things listed on another thread.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also cant connect to our server which is a synology NAS, changed the IP address on the server to the new EE address and still wont connect, a very frustrating experience thinking changing would be easy....any help appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Which EE router &amp;amp; WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for the reply.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have set up Compatible wifi on the EE App and the printer still wont recognise the wifi....we can only operate it by a USB cable directly into the computer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Hive heating system has connected but takes around 10 minutes to work&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The synology NAS wont connect, I have even changed the IP address on the NAS control panel to our new EE IP address but my PC wont connect&lt;/P&gt;</description>

You may wish to also disable the 5Ghz band on the compatible and be sure it is set WPA2-PSK mode, printer goes no further than wifi4.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hive heating control unit, is it the Ethernet connected model, if so you really need to say which EE Hub you are using!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We have Full Fibre Gigabit+ Premium with WiFi Optimiser smart hub SH403&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1) HP Printer -Tried factory reset holding cancel &amp;amp; and X button down for 5 seconds ....still wont connect wirelessly.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2)&amp;nbsp; Not being a scientist how do I "disable the 5Ghz band?"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3) The hive does have a LAN connected to the EE HUB&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4) Still cant access the Synology NAS server&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Have we made a big mistake changing?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;2)&amp;nbsp;On the router under Advanced &amp;gt; Wireless Settings &amp;gt; Compatible WiFi untick 5GHz &amp;amp; tick 2.4 GHz (it should've defaulted to that anyway).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4) Yes, you told us you can't access the NAS but not how it is connected to the router?.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4557539"&gt;@Glyn_Millsom&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Eventually found the info for the Ethernet, so check your hive version...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H2 id="article-heading-3"&gt;Problems connecting a wired device&lt;/H2&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure both ends of the cable are fully inserted and you're trying to connect using one of your EE hub’s LAN ports, not the WAN port.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try using a different LAN port or a different ethernet cable, make sure it’s at least CAT-5e, to rule out a hardware or cable fault.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Some of the latest EE hubs do not support 10Mbps Half-Duplex ethernet ports. If you think your device has one of these ports, you may need to connect it to your hub via a switch. You can also try connecting it to the LAN port on one of your Extender Plus devices instead if you have them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4557539"&gt;@Glyn_Millsom&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;LOS red as well now, the Fibre is down connection wise, bit off a torrid time so to say, can be that way when jumping especially going the way you have with a complex EE WiFi 7 Hub, you may even find it's possible all to do with your wifi optimiser addon that never works, who knows hopefully the EE Guide sort's it all out for you, RED LOS call EE again that's a OR Openreach look at Fibre wise, but you can try the ONT off for 5 minutes to see if that recovers!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
