Hi. I have just purchased the 1.6gb package. All ok other than the speed between desktop pc and router (located next to each other). Have spoken with EE tech support and they state that the 3 Ethernet ports on the router are 2.5gb indicating that my pc and/or cables are the issue. My only concern before i upgrade my pc with an upgraded Ethernet port is that both Copilot and ChatGPT report the router ports being restricted to 1 GB. Can anyone confirm results for the ports in a real life scenario? Thanks

Thanks. The only time I expect to see the difference is on the big steam downloads. My thoughts are that if I have bought the 1.65 package it would be good to see it in action at some point if not all the time

Update. I bought a TP -Link 2.5gb PCIe Network adapter and a Cat 6a Ethernet Cable. Total cost £30. Pleased to say it worked. My PC now has a wired connection speed of 1.65gb. What I have found is that all other devices in my house (TVs, Fire sticks, Fire TV Cube , Laptops etc) all have their ethernet ports maxed out at 100mb. For now, without buying adapters for everything, I am relying on wifi which gets better speeds. Thanks for everyone`s replies.
