I have moved in to my new home and I have told you that the fibre end point is missing, but I was told that I need to wait until the activation date to book an engineer to install the box. Why can’t I get that sorted out before the activation date?

You can't do anything with it in the meantime.

@Redoctober If the Fibre already exists at the new home and previous occupants have taken the ONT, the power PSU or even Both with them and just left the Fibre cable there it does happen, then until the activation day for your system EE cannot pre-order a replacement to be done. You just have to wait until the day after the activation then call EE up.
