Thanks. It may be a silly question but if I disconnect any games consoles will the port close automatically? If so I can then run Network Inspector again and check which console is the culprit.

Avast Network Inspector has given me an alert saying Port 7547 is open and accessible from the internet. It recommends closing the port but I can't find where it is showing as open, so I can't close it. Anybody had the same issue (and solved it)?

Thanks

Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

Yeah, it's the standard router EE (BT) supplied when I upgraded to fibre just over a year ago. Paperwork says "Smart Hub Plus" and the plan is "Full Fibre Gigabit All Rounder", 900 Mbps. I'm not aware of opening a port and nothing new has been added to our home in last few days (the warning only popped up today).

You won't get rid of it. EE need it to remotely manage the router. Most ISP routers do. It also supports the router functions of the EE app.
