On the assumption that the underlying TV subscription is retained, then it should work fine with the Smart Hub Pro. The multicast config required for subscription channels is common to both EE and BT.

I am thinking of switching back to BT and own a grey market Smart Hub Pro.

I know it will continue to work with a BT connection, however will my EE TV package continue to work with it?

BT TV may not work as I am led to believe that BT TV/IPTV, is locked to BT’s own hubs, however the BT switch software just inherits my existing EE TV package.

As EE is part of BT presumably the early exit fee will be waived

Too many assumptions:

Doubt BT will allow you to switch back.

Even if you could, you would be liable to EE exit fees.

You would need to return your EE kit.

As for the fee's who knows that, neighbour across from me had all the BT/EE move disconnect move reconnect, at one point had six BT/EE mixture off hubs all sent, told him get back onto BT Guide and have them sort it all out as he was and now STILL is a BT customer, that is what it all took, so now on a FF connection, BT Smarthub2 to replace the old BT hub and working full digital also using the DVA, has been that way now about 4 months i believe!
