Yes. All clearly set with the whole house blocked for certain things. And
we can still access them.

Has anyone else "tested " the parental controls on ee wifi and found them essentially useless? I have 2 children in the house and it is a worry. Since moving from BT we have had no end of issues. We'd leave but would be charged for termination of contract!

If youve set everything up using the MyEE app, with your app correctly recognising your EE Hub instead of the old BT hub (it took a wee while before this was implemented after I got my EE Smart Hub Plus), you should find you can have much more control. What exactly isnt it letting you do?

It let's me set everything up but when I try and access things I wouldn't
want the kids on it let's me do it. Everything is set up. It just doesnt
work. Also, I want to limit games and youtube etc between certain times
only like I did with BT and it doesn't allow that either. It just has wifi
timers. They need to be able to get on to do their homework. I got in touch
with them about this and they said there wasn't this option. I get lots of
advertising about gaming speeds etc but its clear the development teams
aren't parents!

Hi @kath10010,

Welcome to the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your parental controls, and I can understand your frustration. I'd recommend reaching back out to the team, as we do offer this option. If you would prefer then you can reach out and make a complaint directly with the team.

The complaints system just automatically closes the complaint. It doesn't
deal with the issue. And there is not the option to suspend certain things
at certain times. You can only apply a schedule to wifi itself. If you're
with BT and thinking of changing to EE.......don't.
