SWITCH FEE NONSENSE

A young salesman came to the door and sold me to switch from Zen Internet over to EE. I was reluctant because I'd had a bad experience with EE customer experience in the past and I'd only recently renewed my contract with Zen so there was a large exit fee (£326). He assured me the exit fee would be paid in full as soon as I had the final bill and gave me instructions to claim.

I have now forwarded over my final bill amount to the ee switch team 5 times to no response. I have called the EE customer services team 3 times and been told the only way to communicate with the switch team is via email, i told them they don't respond and I'm down £326 at christmas and would like to know when they'll be reimbursing me. They said they'll email for me to give it a nudge but can't make it a priority. The last girl I spoke to was also very rude and I doubt will be emailing them on my behalf.

The customer services has been appalling and i have no idea if I'm going to be getting my £326 back despite many many promises by the salesman it would all be covered as soon as I paid.

You won't get it in full! The max. exit fees EE will pay when switching ISPs is £300. He failed to mention there was a limit.

See Switch Broadband to EE and we'll pay your leaving fee. It will be applied as a credit to your EE bill.

@Profile closed Have you checked and looked on any off your bills for the applied £300 as a credit on that, you may get the credit applied but not the money back from EE unless you get the agreement from them, that will maybe take a manager to sign off on!

Okay, colour me puzzled here.

You were with one of the most reliable isps out there - Zen - and you admit to previous bad experiences with EE. Yet you abandon Zen at the start of a new contract to return to EE and instantly receive more bad experiences!

Turkey votes for Christmas?
