New Wi-Fi

Hi has anyone else had re come nocking on there about there Wi-Fi and also send you a new Wi-Fi box and also have someone from full fiver come to your house and install stuff

im just worries that it might not be right, it also doesn’t feel right jsut because I have been scanned way to many time and Im worried this one as well

@Burnzy90 Your post does not make much sense trying to read it, who are full fiver to start with and why are you not dealing direct with EE?

If you mean Full Fibre then EE would have arranged for OR Openreach to install that for you, that includes a NEW Fibre cable, a NEW ONT Fibre Modem installed, and the EE Router now connected to that!

Hi, I don’t know why ee are not doing it themself but fullfiber is a wifi provider

also it was ment to say has anyone else had ee knocking on the door about wifi

@Burnzy90 EE dont do anything apart from supply the Broadband over the Openreach infrastructure be it copper, partial or full fibre as a product! They are actively promoting the Full Fibre upgrades!

There are door-knockers trying to sell Full Fibre to residents. They should be in some sort of uniform & if from EE show "EE" on it. They should also be able to show you a business card. Others here have had them & with some not everything they tell you has turned out to be true.

If you don't trust them you can always order it from Broadband Deals

EE do have a door to door sales team. When you answer the door to a member of our local team, they'll introduce themselves and show you their ID badge. If you're interested in EE or BT products, they'll take you through the products and services that are best suited to you and answer any questions.

If you're interested in buying with us, they'll ask you to fill in a short, secure online form on their tablet, with your full name, address, and phone number.

When & how does this become an order? Others have reported that they have actually been signed up just by having a doorstep visit.

That's correct it's all done at door.
If the customer wants to continue with placing an order, the agent will take their name and address. The customer will then scan a QR code on the agent’s tablet using their own phone or tablet.

The customer will complete the sign-up process on their own device. The agent can stay to help if needed. If they do stay, they might note down the customer’s order reference number.
