Pay as you go charges

We have a pay as you go package as we only use our landline for incoming calls. I haven't considered this before but are 0800 numbers free and carry no charges on pay as you go when phoning out?

Calls to 0800 numbers are free across all phones, fixed & mobile, this is a regulatory requirement.
