topic Connected, no internet. in Broadband & Landline

Hello.

I'm relatively new to EE, having been transferred from BT and now with full fibre. All went well for a couple of months, then recently I've been getting the 'connected, no internet' message. To begin with , rebooting the modem and the router (still the BT one) worked. Now it doesn't . I have all the correct lights showing, including the blue one on the router, and I'm able to access my broadband via an ethernet cable from router to laptop. However, when I check the Wifi available in Windows, in addition to the non-working BT connection, I have 'EE-WiFi' and I am able to log into this one, although the Mb/s is a fraction of my normal speed. I do have a BT mesh set up, but disconnecting this has no effect. So essentially I'm getting internet to my router, but it's not coming out via WiFi.

Apologies if I'm missing something obvious, but any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Norman

If it is a large amount and NOT resetting when you power the hub off leave a couple to 5 minutes, back on and then the page log file is the same size, let us know!

That BT Smarthub2 always has the EE WiFi transmitting on it, and is very hard to get rid off!

Have you reported your problem with your BB to EE? They can't do anything about it until you do. Text HELP to 66033 to get EE to test the line & see what needs doing.

Thanks for getting back to me. As it happens, I picked up an unused EE
smart hub for a few £ at my local cash converters. Set up now and working
fine.
Thanks again.
Norman

If you mean an EE SH Plus watch out for the PSU. Many are faulty. Not being supplied by EE they won't replace it.

Also it is still owned by EE.
