ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

I keep getting this error when trying to access the company SharePoint. The SharePoint open in any other Wi-Fi but when it is connected with my home Wi-Fi gives me this error: ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH.

I called EE yesterday but the adviser didn't know how to fix it and which department in EE should I contact to help me with this.

Could you please, provide the EE phone number that can fix this error?

There's no specific no. You can only call CS about it.

@Maria205 If your laptop has the ability off an Ethernet connection on it to connect to the EE Router then check that way, and as @Christopher_G points out to you the contact us and then getting to the right Tech support if you find it is happening on both wired/wireless side of the network on your EE Router!

Has anyone got a solution to this problem? There are several websites that I use but can no longer access as they generate the error ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH.

I cannot use an ethernet connection, and I do not have any moble phone signal so cannot access via moble data. I believe that this is a problem with EE but I'm on a fixed contract and cannot leave for another year!

@Stewart34 Until someone can jump an Ethernet cable onto the EE Router it's going to be a little difficult to say what is required and which way EE need to look at it, with TLS control does not take much to throw it off!

I connected to the router uing the ehernet ports but I still get the same error message ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH when I try to access some sites.

I still have the same problem accessing sites like lovebrewing.co.uk. I still get the ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH error. As I saing in a previous post I tried using an ethernet connection but still get the same error. Does anyone have a solution for this yet?

Maybe it's related to the browser. I think it is related to the recent age restrictions but I'm not under age, I'm 76.

@Stewart34 - do you have any parental controls configured? An SSL error is a typical symptom of trying to access a web resource over HTTPS that is beign intercepted by EE's parental controls. The parental controls block pages don't work where HTTPS is concerned.

Any third-party parental control/security software installed on your device? If so, might be worth temporarily disabling that too to see if it has any positive impact.

Also, make sure both the time and date are configured correctly on the device you're having problems with.

I don't have any parental controls set. But I cannot pair the router with the app to access parental controls!
