We've had Sky Q for years without issue, but it's recently disconnected from the EE wifi for no apparent reason. I can reconnect it, but whilst it does initially connect it drops out again almost immediately.

I've reset the Sky box and router etc - anything else it could be? I've been told by a friend (not at an expert) that we may need a router upgrade - we have the EE smart router.

Thanks

@Miike47

Sky Q has it's own wifi for mini boxes which uses channel 36. It's possible I guess that the router might be transmitting on channel 36 and causing the problem. If this is the problem then change the 5GHz band in the router from either ch 36 or Auto to another channel.
