I am also betting this issue with my router, I have Smart hub pro and smart Wi-Fi Pro

Configured DDNS when i initially setup the new Smart Hub Pro and it was working fine, updated overnight to firmware version r2.64.3-R-1213091-PROD-1 and now DDNS sits at connecting constantly and doesnt update. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Reset of router has made no difference.

All forum topics

When did you receive your Smart hub pro?

I believe the latest version is r2.64.7-R-1303938-PROD-1 App version: 2.34.2, so looks like you will be pulling through the update overnight very soon.

Ignoring the errant ‘connecting’ message, is the DDNS service actually working?

I found the following brought through software updates...

Log out of ee app.

Delete app.

Reinstall app

Hard reset hub pro (via button)

Hard reset ONT (via button).

Good luck.

Log into app.

Reconnect hub to phone via ee app (scanning QR code).

At this stage you "might" see a message saying software updating or similar? I did.

I thought the exact same as you however it is working, it only updates when the IP address changes (reboot etc) , latest firmware (r2.64.7-R-1303938-PROD-1 ) shows the exact same "Connecting" status but if you catch it on time once in a while you will see it shows "updating" etc. Its just not as frequent as the BT Hub was, which connected frequently whether the IP adress changed or not.
