I wish I understood you, but I don't. I can't find how to change the light on the EE webpage (is that called a web interface ?). I've searched and searched on the site to no avail; it keeps telling me to download the app, which I have. Sometimes I can find the page which allows me to change the light, but then I can't. And when I change it to one of the 3 options it doesn't work. Any advice?

Login to your EE Smart Hub/Router at 192.168.1.254 with the admin password on the bottom of the slider label on the back of the router. Then on the Home > Hub Light Control page you may adjust to OFF, 1/2 ON or Full ON.
