Hi,

Last week I had a engineer came into replace the copper to Full fibre - the enginner was good and he did his part , I was told it will talk two days or so to get your full speed,(150M,125M guarnteed) sadly I have been checking the spped over few days , and still Nowhere near at least 125M ? whih is min, so far I have been getting near 89meg , this teasting was carried out from fixed Win11 PC , with LAN Card and direct RJ45 CABLE ,I have also done varous testing on Mobile devices , and the speed on mobile devcie is about 84meg and Fixed PC ,92MEG (This is the most maximum I have seen over few days , when asked for support the support team thought I may need a change of router , despite I dont agree the issue is Not In my house but further up , either the fibre ends are not cleaned ,or other factors, also i have done test from fast.com and google speed test , on all tests the results are below 93Meg, I have a linksys Wifi 6 router in hand so I add that as a AP on to the Main router , but the spped was getting more than 130meg ? how come ? also I ned to have the EE/BT hub for Digital voice

could anyone suggest what else I can do to see the magic figure of 125/meg - also , the speed varies throughout the day

any ideas , I could try or move on ?

Not same co. but same group, separate ISP.

You must use the supplied EE router as main router to have DV.

If you are getting more than 130 Meg from a Linksys acting as an AP to main router, then the issue can't be the fibre connection.

I got about 150 Meg from the beginning on my EE BB FF 150 plan.

Try a speedtest, preferably wired using an Ethernet cable supplied with the router, here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html . Click on the "Results Page" button at the bottom of the graph you first see and then copy to here just the "Link to this result:" link that you see below the next main graph.

Thanks , I have done that already, with straight RJ45 cable from router to PC , and have ven disabled all other devices off the router, just to see if I can get 150M from cable connceted to BB Router , also I notised that on home page of logging in the page the fibre conncetion is :Fibre conncewtions FTTX ? thought if the fibre should be FTTH or am I wrong to assume ?fs have tested are PC>> RJ45>> stright into router port = result is <92 mg and it varies a lot , also Mobile next to the pc tested speed is 88meg .

i have also tested on fast.com and google speed test >> both same results of 88-92 m

just thinking should have stayed with copper with 66meg happy days , no drops.

FTTX is OK. It represents FTTP or FTTH.
