Some EE hotspots are people with EE broadband giving up a bit of their bandwith that others can use, It could be they've moved from EE, switched routers from the EE provided one, or just opted out from EE wifi

as the title says, the ee wifi hotspot i use is gone. i pay for broadband at home and use the hotspot when i stay with my grandma, which may be for days or weeks, and i rely on it fully whilst im there. after using it for months i have noticed that the hotspot no longer shows up in available networks, and isnt on the coverage map. are hotspots usually removed?
