Agreed to switch providers with a Street sales person today however after subsequently discovering that my existing broadband is a 24 month contract which would cost me 468 to cancel, I have decided that now is not the right time.

Also, am unwilling to wait in a call queue for 1.5 hours!

If it's not too late tell your current ISP that you don't agree to the move. Otherwise try calling CS on the Freephone no.(Opt 1) in my sig.

EE will pay up to £300 of your Early Cancellation Fees upon sight of your previous ISP's bill showing them. You can claim this online @ Switch Broadband to EE and we'll pay your leaving fee. It will be applied as a credit to your EE bill.

@Dan878 It's your choice, but you would be better to cancel with EE, if it all goes wrong you will be paying!
