Broadband upgrade

I am a current broadband customer with 12 months remaining on my contract, I have been looking at upgrading from 500mbs to 900mbs.

This would mean signing up to another 24 month contract.

My question is, would receive a new wifi 7 router or am I expected to carry on with the old WiFi 6 model ?

Only the 1.6 Meg plans come with the SH Pro as standard. You can pay £7 pm to have it instead of the SH+.

hi, I’m currently on the Fibre 67 Essentials plan (£32.99 a month), and I’m thinking of upgrading to the Full Fibre 500 plan (£36 a month).
Before I decide, could you please confirm whether EE will send me a new compatible router as part of the upgrade, or if I would need to pay anything extra for the router or installation?

I currently have a BT router from before I switched to EE, so I’d like to make sure it will work with the Full Fibre service. Thanks. I.

@Isabellaaa : EE are sure to send you any compatible router necessary for FF 500Meg. The BT SH2 will work on any EE FF BB up to 1 Gig.
