I've been having issues with my Smart Hub Plus that I cannot find absolutely any information about.
This is the second time this has happened. Previously the issue fixed itself, but I have no idea what changed to rectify the problem so I cant recreate it.

Basically, my house runs on an electricity meter. If at any point the meter runs out of credit and the power dies, after I've put more credit on my Smart Hub Plus ceases to function properly.
The lights follow a predictable pattern: They flash green for a few minutes, then go solid green for a few seconds before very quickly flashing white and then back to flashing green. As far as I can see online the flashing green isn't even a thing it should be able to do?

I've reset it, done multiple power cycles but still nothing. I assume its in a restart loop but I cant seem to break it out of it.
If anyone has any information that will help i'd be very very grateful.

Yes, flashing Green is not a recognised state.

Currently EE are sending out replacements for faulty Power Supplies for the SH+. Your issue could be that.

See EE Sending out Replacement Power Supplies for its Smart Hub Plus's.

Hi @Iamcyanblue

If the power goes dead it will need to restart and resynchronize with the connection and depending on your service this can take a few minutes.

Sudden power outages or spikes on any appliance or device can cause damage to electrical parts or firmware.

Thanks

@Iamcyanblue Hopefully the new PSU is going to be OK, but you are leaving yourself open for the potential again, stick that sequence off lights happening as you see in your mind as that is the GOOD indication that your PSU is toast!

It would appear that the EE Router seems to survive fine, and that only the PSU Unit fails, time to call EE CS and report it so they can send you a replacement out!
