Heya!

So I've been trying to port forward for a while now. Trying to set up a Minecraft server. I did this years ago and that port has stayed in place, but trying to add another (for an external map mod) it doesn't stay in the list. I click save, it says it's saved, but then goes back to the list with just my Minecraft port and nothing else.

I've disabled UPnP as was suggested.

I've restarted the router, and contacted both the online help and called the helpline, but they only give basic support.

There shouldn't be any other issues on my router from what they say.

Thanks in advance!

After you enter the Port Forward paras. have you pressed the '+ to the R of them before you Save to add that rule to the list?

Can you try changing the name of that device under the 'Network' section i.e. remove the apostrophe and see if you have any more luck?

Alternatively, you could click the 'Show IP address' button and enter the device's IP address instead (if you do this, make sure the 'Always use this IP' option is enabled for that device after clicking into it from the Network page).

If that doesn't work, might be time to go nuclear and try a factory reset?

It was the apostrophe.

Thank you so much! I don't know when I renamed it, but it was years ago, and I've always come across this issue with port forwarding, but never enough to do anything about it.

Originally made the Minecraft port even longer ago.

I changed the device, then set the port and it worked.

Thank you so much for the help!
