You could try removing the Wan/DSL cable whichever connection you are using, power up the EE Router, it will never get a connection as that is what it is supposed to do, but the PSU may be able to keep the hub up and working, worth a try you have nothing to lose!

My hub has stopped working (constant green light). Spoke to Customer Services this morning and they believe it is a power supply issue and are sending me out a new PSU.

They also stated that I should be able to connect to the Smart Hybrid Connect unit directly whilst the hub isn’t working, but I can’t find out how (it’s an ipad I’m trying to connect so no Ethernet port).

Any suggestions gratefully received.

You could web manager to the EE Router to see, http://192.168.1.254/ you might be able to determine at least Hybrid is connected or not!
