so im looking to move BB provider.

Some questions

- Can EE hub do port forwarding eg connect incoming 2222 ( passwordless SSH) to 22 on a networked computer , or 8080 to an apache server running on the LAN

- any incoming ports blocked /used be EE

- and what about our VOIP phone ?

Yes, you can port forward.
Yes, all incoming ports are blocked except those you open, as is normal.
What about your VoIP phone? Do you have your own VoIP provider. EE & BT provide their own proprietary Digital Voice (DV) over BB delivered to a Phone port on their routers.
