topic EE Smarthub Pro and Smart WiFi Pro Network View Errors / Bug in Broadband & Landline

I have been using an EE Wi-Fi 7 Smart Hub Pro to connect all my 26 devices (4 Ethernet and 22 Wi-Fi ) to my 900Gb service and all was ok for a few months until I needed a fifth Ethernet socket so I started to use the Smart Wi-Fi pro which I had not used before to make use of one of its Ethernet sockets. The device synced to the Smart Hub pro without issue. However when I connect an ethernet connection to it, the device attached to the Smart Hub Pro Ethernet Port 3 disappears from the network view although it still works. Also the Ethernet connection on the Smart Wi-Fi Pro fails to show up on Webview although it works ok. I have tried both rebooting and resetting both hub and Wi-Fi repeater and the issue is repeatable indicating a bug in the Network Webview on a PC using Windows 10 with Edge browser. Regarding the iOS EE App, the device on port 3 of the Smarthub now shows as offline but it is not , although the Ethernet connection on the Smart Wi-Fi Pro shows correctly there!

Anybody else experiencing similar? Difficult to get hold of EE to report this as all they want to do is "line check faults " which has nothing to do with this. No simple way of reporting a bug in their hub / web software

Yes I have something similar. I have 3 cameras connected to a switch that connects to the extender via ethernet These devices only show as 6Ghz devices on a windows PC webview. If I disconnect the ethernet cable from the extender and reconnect it again they then show as ethernet devices but after a reboot they show up as 6Ghz 🤨🤔

Yes the network view is not great. If you have the hybrid connect and connect this to the smart hub pro via Ethernet it REALLY causes issues with the network view…

hopefully a future firmware update will fix these issues.

in the meantime everything works so not a major problem..

Agreed, it all works, just an an annoyance reporting that it doesn't! As long as EE are aware, maybe a future update will fix. Thanks.

Very similar to my issue, if I pull the ethernet connections and reconnect, it is all good for a few seconds then they disappear!! Definite firmware bug in the Ethernet view software!
