Anyone know if I can use the Eero Pro 6E directly into the ONT and authenticate with PPOE? Would like to take the SHplus out of the equation and just use the Eero Pro as the sole router.

Cheers

I'm just in the process of switching to EE. Is there any other data/credentials that I need for me to be able to use just my Eero, and not clutter my desk with multiple routers?

My PPPoE set up in the Eero app is like this:

but there is a greyed out option for a password. Will I need to get one from EE?

Thanks

Many thanks. Just one more BB contract to go and the Eero's will have paid for themselves (vs the added cost of an ISP's mesh offering)

Switch over happened today. ISP connection working fine with the EE router, but can't get Eero working. I've set up as per instructions above but it just ain't connecting. Have tried toggling on Uplink VLAN and adding 101 as the value but the Eero app isn't applying the settings.

Have switched everything off an on again, but still experiencing same issue.

Is there something else I need to do?

Thanks

have tried calling EE but their call centre is somewhat mashed up (due to recent network outages?). I call and the line is silent, then about 1 minute later the telephone tree starts, with 30-60 gaps in between each question and keypad answer. As I get to the point where they are going to connect me to a person I get told that no one can help me and they cut me off.

Here are my setting in the eero app:

Sorted it - needed to reconfigure the settings on the Eero while it was connected via Ethernet to the EE hub with it's (the EE Hub's) wifi turned off.

Annoyingly none of the guides mention that.
