Changing broadband package

I would like to change to the cheaper package thats for the same things, 27 pound a month instead of 40, i was 32 but bt put it up then switched to ee. I can purchase/select the new broadband package, but cant deselect the original, last time i did this with bt they didnt cancel the previous and i was paying for both for months, took a long time to resolve. How can i swap? We need smooth transition with the internet as partner works hybrid.

You can't downgrade to a cheaper plan mid-term, but only in your upgrade window from 30 days before end of term.

Thanks but im not midterm the contracts finished just rolling, so i can cancel it any time and sign up to a cheaper offer ,

@12345618 You do understand that you will NOT be allowed to downgrade the package, you may try calling EE CS and see but online that will not work!

You should be allowed to "upgrade" to a cheaper/slower plan if you like once you are out of min. term.
