Smart Hub Pro SH4-1 Firmware

I just installed a new SH4-1 and started the firmware update via the EE app... three hours later it is still thinking about it.

Version installed shows r2.64.6-R-1303886-PROD-1

@GDog3 The firmware is often upgraded overnight when new versions are available.

Was not aware there was an option on the app, but is that for an app upgrade or router upgrade?

App said it was upgrading when I went into it to set WiFi controls

I think you will find the updating message received in the app, is totally unreliable and the router is more than likely not updating.

Latest SH Pro firmware...

Thanks. Still says it and therefore can’t access WiFi controls. Not impressed

Had the same issue myself. Believe I cleared it by reinstalling app and skipped checking for update somehow. Perhaps try another mobile device, if you are able to

The hub should upgrade shortly after it's installed assuming it's on old firmware, whether you're using the app or not. If it doesn't then it suggests something is not quite right.

@GDog3 - suspect you may have reverted to the Orbi now based on your other thread, but if you haven't, then closing the app, rebooting the hub and starting afresh would have been my suggestion.

I gave up - was updating all night. Tried everything bar deleting the app.

Back on the OrbiPro - much happier.
